A few of our favourite places
Brunswick Heads still feels like a proper beach town, and that's one of the things we love most about it. There are plenty of great places to eat, drink and explore — but rather than a huge list, we've picked a few of the places we genuinely return to ourselves. We hope you enjoy discovering Bruns as much as we do.

Another great breakfast option, especially if you feel like something casual before heading to the beach or river.
It's friendly, relaxed and very much part of the Brunswick Heads morning routine.

One of our regular favourites.
Great for Vietnamese food, especially the bánh mì and pho. Fresh, tasty and ideal for an easy lunch.

Simple, fresh and great value.
A really good option when you want something quick and casual without compromising on quality.

A lively spot for lunch and drinks.
You can sit and eat outside, but the pick of the spots is across the road at the park beside the river — especially if high tide rolls in around lunchtime. It can be a bit of a scene when Brunswick is busy, but it's a great place to people-watch and soak up the atmosphere.
26–28 Tweed Street, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483 · (02) 6694 3314

One of our favourite places in town.
It has a relaxed atmosphere and consistently great Mexican food. Ryan's pick is the crispy pork tacos. Maya doesn't eat red meat, so there are plenty of other options if you're after something lighter or meat-free.
5/3 Fawcett Street, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483 · (02) 6685 1223

A great choice for dinner if you're looking for something a little different.
The food is interesting, full of flavour and the atmosphere is relaxed without feeling too formal.
2 The Terrace, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483 · 0493 845 521

A beautiful little providore and wine store with a carefully curated selection of wines, artisan cheeses, charcuterie, fresh bread and gourmet treats.
It's not a sit-down venue, but it's perfect for picking up something special to take back to The Loft for an afternoon drink or relaxed evening on the terrace.
25 Fingal Street, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483 · (02) 6685 1004

A proper local pub and an easy option for a beer, wine or casual drink.
It's relaxed, unpretentious and always feels very Brunswick Heads.
4 Mullumbimbi Street, Brunswick Heads NSW 2483 · (02) 6685 1236

One of Brunswick Heads' real gems.
This beautifully restored theatre hosts an eclectic mix of cabaret, comedy, live music, circus and film. It's always worth checking what's on during your stay — you might find something completely unexpected.
